Guided Meditation for Mornings

This post is special.

I’m sharing with you my own morning meditation, adapted from a variety of different versions that I’ve found inspirational. My hope is that it will provide you with some peace, centering, and focused energy to begin your day.

Mindfulness meditations are well-researched and provide some truly incredible benefits to your all aspects of your health: emotional, physical, cognitive, spiritual, social… You can read more about them here.

You can listen to this meditation in bed, on your couch with a cup of coffee, at your desk before you begin work, in the shower, or in the car on your morning commute (as long as you skip the closing your eyes part!)

Do you have a group that you meet with, coach, or lead in some way? You might consider sharing this with them.

If you have kids or are a teacher, it would also be a wonderful practice to begin implementing with your children/students as well. They, too, could benefit from connecting to their senses and being present in the moment. It takes less than 10 minutes to do, and if you're reading it, you can adapt as needed.

I'll encourage you to do one of two things:

1. Download the audio meditation & save it to listen to (occasionally or regularly) as part of your morning routine or rituals, or to play for others.

2. Download the PDF version to read with a group you lead or your children.

Please feel free to use this guided meditation in either form for your personal practice, with a loved one, or with a group. I just kindly ask that you do not share it (via the internet or printed copies) without my consent.

If you do give it a try, I would love to hear your feedback. 🥰 Be well!
